State Representative Pamela S. Maier

Rep. Pam Maier

Representative Pam Maier, first elected to the Delaware General Assembly in 1994, is a leading advocate for the health and protection of Delaware's citizens of all ages.
As chair of the House of Representatives Health and Human Development Committee, Rep Maier's lead on legislation to create the Office of the Child Advocate and Safe Arms for Babies shows her commitment to our state's vulnerable young citizens. The Office is designed to be an independent voice to provide oversight of the state’s child protective services and to address systemic problems.
Rep. Maier led the State House in passing the Graduated Driver's Licensing bill. This resulted from constituents' concerns and led to more supervision and experience behind the wheel for our newest drivers.
Rep. Maier was the lead sponsor of legislation authorizing the Department of Health & Social Services to establish a program for
Delaware residents with disabilities to continue living in the community. The program prevents unnecessary institutionalization.

Rep. Maier lives in Drummond Hill with her husband, Dave, and their two sons, Addison and Cameron.
